Support Tours Concert Setlists
The only songs from Pretty Hate Machine not played on this tour were Something I Can Never Have (except warm up show) and Kinda I Want To (permanently retired) The intro song used during this tour was an extended intro to Terrible Lie. This chart is more a reflection of which songs are on the bootlegs I have. No doubt Terrible Lie was played at every show. Sometimes Down In It really seems like the end of the show. There are no samples used during this tour.

About one second of PTP's Rubber Glove Seduction can be heard just before
the start of the show. The fact that I could identify this song based on a
1 second snippet is further evidence I need to get out more (if this site alone
didn't prove it). This is the 4th earliest circulated NIN recording.
This is a curious date which I was initially skeptical of. The Intro song and Something I Can Never Have would imply it was a Hate90/Sin91 Tour date. However there were almost always samples played during Hate 90/Sin91 and Suck was always played too, at least in every other recording I have. These is also no crowd singing at this show unlike all of the bootleg from the Hate 90/Sin 91 Tours. Pretty Hate Machine had only been out a few months at this point. When NIN was opening for Jesus and Mary Chain, Peter Murphy, or Jane's Addiction, they played an extended intro to Terrible Lie to open a show. See Intro Songs.

This recording starts off with one of the most moronic audience conversations ever. Someone asks the taper to send him a copy of the show but to "keep it on the down low" after giving him a business card. He even says he works at Westinghouse. Despite some crowd chatter, this is a good audience recording, unknown lineage, duration 39:08.

What is this Irish folk/punk song that plays after show? LISTEN!
I converted a a cassette of this show to lossless digital but it must have been a higher generation copy than the mp3 files I have of the same recording because the mp3s are much better audio quality. It is a little longer also. The mp3 begins 14 seconds earlier than the cassette I ripped and ends a little later. However there are "jumps" throughout Sin which are not present on my cassette. I will try to re-rip my cassette of this show now that I have a better idea of what I am doing. The same Irish folk/punk song plays after the show as 2/17/90. Overall, a good audience recording, unknown lineage, duration (mp3) 40:22 (cassette sourced) 39:46
